Hi All!
It’s full steam ahead to StrangeCreek Campout and we can’t wait to see you this weekend! We know you are preparing just as we are, so we wanted to send some tips and reminders so that we can all have the best weekend possible.
First, some camping basics:
- BRING bug repellent (and check each other for ticks!!), good SHOES, extra LAYERS (it gets chilly at night!), a good FLASHLIGHT (& batteries!) – and healthy snacks!
- OPEN FIRES are prohibited… but small propane grills are fine! (fire extinguisher is always a good idea too)
- Please help keep these lovely woods CLEAN! Ask for trashbags at a CAMPGROUND HQ near you!
And PLEASE consider adding some donations for STRANGERS HELPING STRANGERS while you pack, or if you go into town for supplies. SHS will be collecting (non-perishable food & personal hygiene items) for local families in need. There will be prizes for those who donate the most, but every little bit helps so we please contribute.
Gates open at 3PM on THURSDAY for Early Admission (which is $30 extra if you come before 9am Friday) – please DO NOT COME BEFORE 3PM because we will still be getting ready for you. Early Admission also requires a Weekend Pass or Friday Day Pass. If you don’t have your advance price tickets yet – weekend passes are now $150, but will be $160 at the gate; and day passes are currently $75, and will be $90 at the gate. You have until midnight on WEDNESDAY to get yours online: StrangeCreekCampout.com/tickets
Whenever you decide to arrive, remember to GO SLOW!! Please respect the residents that have allowed us to gather in their neighborhood. And as we build up our temporary residences, please be good to each other, taking up only the space you need and leaving room for others and do not rope off space. Be good to each other and we can all have a great time!
And speaking of great times, it’s not too early to save big on WORMTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL tickets – they’re only $100 now if you purchase online – and they go up to $110 starting June 1. You can also get them AT StrangeCreek and avoid the Service Fee – come see us at the Wormtown booth!
