Preparations for this year’s STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT (May 22-25 at Camp KeeWanee in Greenfield MA) are picking up speed!
We’ve loaded up the musical menu even further by welcoming more fine talents to the lineup, including TWO Consider The Source side projects: MONO MEANS ONE, an awesome side project headed by John Ferrara and SOCIAL ASSASSINS featuring CTS guitarist Gabriel Marin joined by Allen Aucoin from the Disco Biscuits! We also have SANS SOUCI bringing delicious Jerry Garcia Band vibes to our stage! We also welcome back StrangeCreek/Wormtown veterans TERRAFUNK, last year’s BATTLE OF THE BANDS winners TUMBLETOADS and battle runners-up FELICITY’S HUBRIS, as well as SOMETHING IS FORMING, a Max Creek tribute featuring talented jammers from other StrangeCreek bands.
APRIL also means our STRANGECREEK BATTLE OF THE BANDS goes LIVE! Last month you voted in 16 contenders; now they’ll bring their best stuff to the stage at our ‘Qualifying Round’ battles this month. Winners of these Qualifying Rounds will face off at the FINAL BATTLE on April 25 at Marigold Theater in Easthampton MA. ALL these battles are FREE!!!! Come help us decide – it’s never easy with so much talent out there – and the ‘Dancefloor Jury’ has a big say in the outcome! Top winner gets invited to a CABIN SET at STRANGECREEK!
