Helloooooooooooo, Worms!
It is with the greatest of pleasure that we give you the FINAL LINEUP for StrangeCreek Campout 2019. We are very excited to welcome some noteworthy bands, both newcomers and old favorites. Worms everywhere will breathe a collective sigh of relief to know Ryan Montbleau will once again be joining us this May at Camp Kee-Wanee! But just as delightful is the addition of TWIDDLE, THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS, THE MOTET, THE WAILERS, PERCY HILL, ROOTS OF CREATION, KITCHEN DWELLERS, ADAM EZRA GROUP, THE MALLETT BROTHERS BAND, RIDERS ON THE STORM, and many many more! And we’re not done there, because we still have another band to add in our annual Battle of the Bands. We are into Round 2 of battles in MA and CT this week, and Round 1 starts up in VT and RI. Last week we saw two bands, RASPBERRY JAM and FICTION move onto their regional semi-finals. These bands ranked 1st and 2nd in the online voting so we expect they will be bands to look out for in the semis. Tune in to the event pages to see these bands showcased and to catch all the battle news. Better yet — Join the dance floor jury: Mondays at The Stone Church in Brattlebeoro VT, Tuesdays at Bishop’s Lounge in Northampton MA, Wednesdays at Bleacher’s in Bristol CT and Thursdays at The Parlour in Providence RI. Winners of the battles move onto a semi-final round and one band from each region will go on to compete in a FINAL BATTLE Saturday, April 13th at Hawks & Reed. These shows are always free so spread the worm and support live music.
And because Worms dig live music, we’re also bringing Ryan Montbleau Band to the Palladium Upstairs, on Friday April 12th. It’s non-stop music! Don’t miss a chance to wiggle.
