![]() More StrangeCreek Campout 2025 updates! Hello, Friends! STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT 2025 is around the corner – we’ll be gathering together NEXT WEEK at Camp KeeWanee! Today we have a couple of updates about Family Camping Activities and the Food Drive to help local families in need. FAMILY CAMPING: We’ve been hosting STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT and WORMTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL for so long that campers who were once kids playing in Family Camp are now bringing their own kids! We’re proud that our festivals are more family-friendly than ever. Family Camping gives families a way to enjoy the event while providing a safe and entertaining haven for them and their children. Our dedicated staff, volunteers, musicians and activity leaders work hard in Family Camping, and we’re grateful for their efforts. If you’ve never been, just ask any of our staff to point the way to the Family Camping area. With that in mind, we ask parents and guardians to be mindful – Family Camping is not a babysitting service. Stay involved with and aware of your young ones at all times. Don’t leave young children unattended; if they are old enough to roam, check in with them often and keep them close after dark. If a child is missing, contact staff immediately for assistance. Register kids for safety in case they do get lost – you can do this in Family Camping or any Campground HQ. If you do not come with children, be respectful – Family Camping is NOT a party spot! Please tone it down in that area at night. The Worms are here to help but “it takes a village” as the saying goes, and the safety and comfort of all are our highest concerns. Check out this year’s menu of Family Camping activities – with activities for all age groups happening ALL weekend – HERE: https://strangecreekcampout.com/family-camp-activities/ ![]() Catch the KIDS SET on the Main Stage, SUNDAY at 11:15am! ![]() Our FOOD DRIVE benefits local families in need through Franklin County Community Meals Program: https://www.fccmp.org/FOOD DRIVE! Once again we’re collecting food and other items at the festival for Franklin County Community Meals Program (https://www.fccmp.org/). If you could bring a little something extra to help out local families in need, or just have unopened stuff at the end of the weekend, we can give back to the community that hosts us every year in a way that truly helps neighbors in need. Non-perishable foods are always needed, as well as hygiene items. Specifically, this year they’re in need of “canned fruits and vegetables, grains (cereal, rice, pancake mix…), peanut butter, 100% juice and diapers sizes 4, 5, 6.” You can drop off your donations at the Food Drive tent near the Artists Village (near the fork in the road by the flagpole) or ANY CAMPGROUND HQ. Thank you!
