Dear Friends,

We know many of you are wondering how recent events may affect our plans as the festival season approaches. We are watching developments closely, of course, and we are very mindful of the seriousness of the situation facing all of us at the moment.

With that in mind, ALL remaining regional battles in our annual StrangeCreek Battle of the Bands are cancelled. For the time being, we will hold out hope that our scheduled Final Battle on April 10 might go on in some form – but if the situation warrants, that too may be cancelled or postponed.

As for this year’s STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT, we will continue to plan and hope to hold our event on Memorial Day weekend, which is still over two months away.  Naturally, we will carefully monitor the situation and work closely with local and regional authorities to assess risks responsibly as the date draws closer.

In the meantime, we urge you to carefully heed the precautions of health officials – please take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and your neighbors in the same community spirit you always show at StrangeCreek and Wormtown! We can help each other get through this, and with any luck we can hope to be past the worst of it by May, and get back to looking forward to more festive gatherings.

We’ll continue to keep you updated! So please avoid speculation and rumors that only add to the confusion. We hope you focus on keeping yourselves healthy so we can all get together SOON.

Keep the faith… we love you all!
