Hi Friends,
We are basking in a tired glow, majorly grateful to ALL who took part in a truly sweet, smooth, fun-filled weekend at this year’s WORMTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL. We were blessed by fantastic weather, outstanding music, and a whole lot of friends & family to celebrate with. We love you and couldn’t ask for anything more.
We’re proud to announce that together we raised over $5000 to help the battered Virgin Islands with direct, local emergency aid – so big thanks to all who pitched in! AND we set a new record for recycling, with all proceeds going to benefit Cancer Connection who do wonderful things for patients and families coping with cancer. And thanks also to the many who donated over 500 lbs of food through Strangers Helping Strangers to help local families in need.
The good feelings continue on the Facebook event page where folks are sharing their pictures, or looking to find the new friends they made over the weekend, and our crew of tapers are putting up links so you can watch or listen to many of the great music performances over the weekend. We’re a community, keep in touch! (And if you think you left something behind, you can email derek@wormtown.com for Lost & Found inquiries. If we have it we’ll do our best to get it back to you.)
Even though we’re already laying the groundwork for next May’s STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT, we hope to see you much sooner – we’re throwing a ZACH DEPUTY Party at the newly renovated PALLADIUM in Worcester on Saturday Nov. 11 and hope you can join us! (Click the graphic to go to the event page)
Speaking of the Palladium, we’re also helping our friends at MassConcerts promote several great shows there, including:
– STS9 w/Opiuo and SunSquabi – THU SEPT 28
– DISCO BISCUITS HALLOWEEN SHOWS! – THU OCT 26 & FRI OCT 27
– DARK STAR ORCHESTRA SAT 11/18
– NEW YEAR’S EVE “BIG BALL JAM” with Wormtown veterans PINK TALKING FISH, KELLER WILLIAMS, PERCY HILL and BEARLY DEAD!

More updates coming soon – and may you have nothing but fun, safe travels in the meantime!
Much Love,
The Worms
